I know Christmas season is over. We bought these way back in January, but your local craft store may still keep them in stock.

If not, go to the backyard and find yourself a few twigs.

Start with TWO 11" twigs.

May 11, 2007

You want to create a + shape.

So measure the center of each twig and Hot Glue them together at the center.

May 11, 2007

This is your MAIN shape.

The top of the screen will be the REAR of the glider, the bottom is the FRONT.

Next take TWO long thin twigs measuring 16" each.

May 11, 2007

Use your Hot Glue to attach the two twigs at 8" (center) from each end.

May 11, 2007

These twigs you want in an allongated X shape.

May 11, 2007

Now use some hot glue to cement BOTH cross pieces in place.

May 11, 2007

The glue holds it well but we want to doubly secure the twigs together. We don't want our furry friends to crash to their deaths now do we?

uh, OK, DON'T answer that LOL

Find some Curly Raffia at your art store. You can use yarn or string if you prefer.

Grab a piece of string...
