Now slowly unwrap the twisted paper. Like magic before your very eyes... the paper will transform itself into Tree Bark.

Pretty cool if I do say so myself. And the cheap cost of the material will allow you to have enough money for 7-10 trees for you home builders.

February 12, 2007

Using white glue, spread around in a squiggle covering a good 4 to 5 ".

February 12, 2007

Slowly press one end of your bark paper to the Tree Tube.

Using white glue instead of Hot Glue, will allow you more manipulation time to place the bark in case it slips around.

February 12, 2007

For the BIG TREE, you can place some masking tape while you wait for the glue to dry since this piece will be hidden with the 2nd Bark "patch".

February 12, 2007

Fold the bark all the way around the tube and place the same amount of glue squiggle as on the opposite side.

February 12, 2007

Gently press against the cardboard. DO NOT press TOO HARD since it can collapse. It is a Hollow Tube after all :)

February 12, 2007

Some masking tape can secure the paper as the glue dries.

February 12, 2007

Now we need our 2nd Bark "Patch". Cut up another piece of Brown Paper at the SAME length as the first piece and place a ruler at the half way mark.

February 12, 2007

Use your exacto blade or Scissors to cut the paper in two equal pieces.

February 12, 2007

There you go. Keep the other for another tree if you care to do so. You just need ONE piece to "patch" up the other side of your BIG TREE.
