First step is to bring in the Neon Force Field. First thing we noticed...The floor tilts to the right. Oh oh, let;s hope it doesn't affect the alignment of the sections.

Section 1 is slid into place and pressed against the glass. So far so good :)

Section 2 fits perfectly alongside the Docking Bay's Right Wall. Darth vader, Palpatine, Piet, Royal Guards and a Vintage Emperial Dignitary are placed at the center of the floor.

The Left Docking Bay wall is placed along the Window. Leaving a space between section 2 and 4 allows me to fit inside and slide the Neon Force Field into place between the two Rear Walls.

Here's where I almost had a PANIC ATTACK - LOL. When sliding the 3rd floor section into place, we realised it did NOT fit !!! Noooooo. I measure 1cm too much. After raising the side walls a little more against the glass we managed to find the extra space needed to fit all sections perfectly into place. I was SO lucky. I don't think I could slide a sheet of paper between the window and the Diorama Walls. It's THAT much of a TIGHT fit. Phew...Time to breathe normal again :)

Once the Docking bay was set up, I measured the width and cut the Tie Bomber Beam to it's proper size. I then placed it on the top of the Walls fitting just right between the first and second collumn.

Next up was to slide the Tie Bomber Holder in between the suports and place the foamcore strip to hold it all in place. Looking VERY cool if I do say so myself :) I am VERY happy at how it's coming about.

Here is where I had my 2nd Panic Attack - LOL. Remember the Tight Fit of the 4 sections? well when I tried to push the Mirror flush against the Diorama back, it was STUCK !!! The side windows were pressing so tightly against the Mirror, I was sure it would crack and Break the Store Windows due to the pressure and rubbing glass. You should have seen me sweating :P After lifting the mirror up, I was able to slide it in very slowly and just PERFECT. The effect is Exactly what I was hoping for. In the pictures it looks great but in person...the mirror is INVISIBLE. If you are trying to figure out where the mirror is, see the horizontal crack in the floor? that's where the Mirror is.

Now it is time to go see what the Docking Bay looks like from the Outside. After all this is what the public will see when passing by on the street.

A wider view from street level. It's too bad there is a metal bar in the center of the window, but when you get close to the window to look inside, you don't see it. You are totally imersed into the scene.

To hide the ugly front sides of the Diorama, I designed some signs that would tell passers by that there were more dioramas on display inside the store. If you think you need glasses...Don't panic...The signs are in French :) Laws in Quebec do not allow English to be seen in public signs. Lucky for you, Dioramas have no language barriers :D Now come on over and see this baby in person !!!
