The Archways are 2 Units wide spread out over a 5 unit wide grid. I decided to make the opening on the 2nd and 3rd grid marks.

The black area will be cut out but as you can see, the Top Support of the Decal is kept as an arch.

Keep the bottom halves of the decals, you will need them later.

Now cut out the black area of the Foamcore. This will give you the width of the Hallway Arch.

Now make a copy of the Decal Wall for the opposite side and place your stickers as you did on the Main Wall.

Remember to place them on the Mirrored side, you don't want the same side decorated on both pieces.

I next cut out 3 pieces to make the inside walls.

TWO for the sides and ONE for the top.

February 13, 2005

Use the Hot Glue gun to attach the 3 pieces to one of the walls.

Remember the Decal side of the wall must be face down against the cutting board.

Take your time and attach 1 piece at a time.

Once cooled and secured, I placed the Top piece, aligning it with the wall sides and ceiling.

The really COOL thing about the design is that it is exactly ONE unit wide, which means you can place it pretty much anywhere in your hallway.

February 13, 2005

Take one of the Decals you trimed the Top off and apply it on the inside wall of the doorway.

February 13, 2005

Repeat the same step with the second sticker at the opposite end of the doorway.

Now take the printed Decal of the Neon Hall Ceiling and cut along the edges.

February 13, 2005

Peel back the wax backing and stick the Decal to the underside of the doorway. Looks cool doesn't it?

February 13, 2005

Since the Doorway needs an end piece, I cut a foamcore rectangle that fits perfectly in between the front and back layers.

February 13, 2005

Take your Hot Glue and secure the wall end to the Door Frame.

February 13, 2005

Last step, select one of your favourite Wall unit decals (I chose the neons) and stick it to the end wall.

Voila !!! (that's french :)

Your Wall Archway is complete and fits anywhere against the diorama wall panels.
