Apply A NEON decal and trim off the excess to create a flush wall unit.

Now CAREFULLY slice a 45 degree angle into the end of the Foamcore.

Use a NEW blade for best results and go SLOW moving Front to Back, like slicing bread. NOT ONE down movement.

AND WATCH OUT FOR YOUR FINGERS on these cuts !!! Trust me :)

February 26, 2005

Flip the wall unit around and cut another 45 degree angle. Remember to TAKE YOUR TIME !!!

February 26, 2005

The wall unit should now fit like a glove between the 2 wall units. Make sure to TEST FIT BEFORE using the Hot Glue.

As you did in the other side, Fill in the cracks with some Hot Glue to reinforce the wall and secure it in place.

Time for Movie Accuracy :D

Use the SMALL Oval panel blueprints to create the skeleton structure for your decals.

February 26, 2005

Cut out your FOUR Cardboard "skins" ...

February 26, 2005

.... And glue them to the main frames. GLUESTICK works best here as opposed to Hot Glue, since you want the cleanest surface for your Decals.

The Hot Glue will sometimes leave bumps, like FAT Veins under your skin, that will warp the Decals when applied later on.

February 26, 2005

Take the SMALL oval Decals and apply them to their bases.

February 26, 2005

Now it's time to build THREE LARGE round units. Use the Blueprints for dimensions and assembly of the core structure.

February 26, 2005

Now wrap the core with the Cardboard "Skin" and let the GlueStick dry.

February 26, 2005

Grab yourself THREE LARGE oval Decals and wrap them around the bases.

February 26, 2005

Place the FIRST LARGE unit along the blank space on the Right Wall.

February 26, 2005

Take the TWO remaining LARGE units and place them side by side along the Left Wall's blank spaces.

February 26, 2005

Place the FOUR SMALL units side by side along the remaining 2 blank spaces of the Left Wall.

February 26, 2005

There you have it... a Movie Accurate hallway from Episode 4 :)

Now all we need is a ceiling...
