Plo Koon was an easy figure to make "Sit" since his arms already had articulation. All that is needed is to concentrate on his lowere half.

I started by slicing off the back half of his Jedi Robe using my Xacto Knife.

Be CAREFULL NOT to cut your fingers in the process.

The Yellow line shows you where the cut Robe was originally attached.

Now it's much easier to bend the legs forward and have him sit down.

But of course NO Jedi sit whith their legs up like that, unless the room is infested with Rats :)

Time to chop the legs in half.

Cut the Knees at an angle so that you don't end up removing TOO much plastic.

Simply imagine a V shape behind the knee and cut it out.

To help him sit deeper into the chair (as if the pillows were soft) I Sliced off part of his Butt and thighs.

This sometimes needs a lot of pressure with the Xacto.

NEVER cut towrads you.

And be sure to NOT have any fingers in the way of the Blades trajectory.

Now I simply used my Hot Glue Gun to attach the 2 parts back together.

I then used some Super Sculpey inbetween the cracks between the Thigh and Lower Leg.

I used my Hair Dryer to harden the Super Sculpey so that it would not fall off and be easier to paint.

You might notice I switched the Feet around. The Right boot looked better on the Left Leg and vice versa. it also created a more natural and relaxed pose don't you think?

Here you see how natural the Legs look like Sitting.

I could have used a bit of Super Sculpey on the Right Knee but the gap seemed clean enough to resemble a normal figure articulation.

And from this angle you can't really tell the feet were reversed sides :D

Since only the Left Knee had Super Sculpey, this was the quickest paint job ever :)

Just a dab of dark brown to match the other leg and we're done.

And Mr. Plo can now relax in the ultra comfy environment of Palpatine's Office :D

Do you want to make your own Palpatine's Office Custom Plo Koon at home?
